I'm Lesa P., the breeder behind BigStar French Bulldogs located in North Coventry, Pottstown, PA. We have a home of happy, healthy, and comical French Bulldogs! Our pups come from health-tested parents for healthier puppies. We enjoy showing our dogs, and they are our companions in every adventure. We are invested in this wonderful breed and in helping the French Bulldog breed thrive. We do all that we can to give our puppies the best lives, including proper health care, thorough socialization and finding them each wonderful, loving home.

Why did you start breeding?
Ive been involved in the sport of dog showing for over 35 yrs. I fell in love with the Frenchie in early 2000's and I have been addicted ever since:)
What makes your program special?
Our dogs live and reside with my family and/or family friends. We do extensive health testing and breed as close as we can to the AKC Breed standard. We stand behind our dogs and program for life!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include brindle, fawn, white and fawn, and white and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Lesa has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and between $3,500 - $4,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Also included is a health guarantee, AKC registration, vaccinations. deworming for the appropriate age, puppy socialization, BigStar Puppy Pack as well as lifetime breeder support. Deposits are non-refundable UNLESS we the puppy turns out NOT to be available. We have the right to return anyone's deposit if we dont feel comfortable.”

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Tracheal Hypoplasia
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
