Q. & A. with Mike & Amy
Why did you start breeding?
In 2015, we began our search for the perfect family dog. Our son is on the spectrum, so we wanted a dog with not only excellent and stable temperament but also intelligence and trainability. A friend who is a seasoned Poodle breeder urged us to consider a Poodle and began mentoring us about starting a breeding program. We knew we wanted to share this amazing breed with other families.
What makes your program special?
Not only are our parents tested to CHIC standards, but they are also diversity tested through BetterBred to increase the long term health of our lines. We show our dogs in conformation and participate in dog sports, demonstrating their innate trainability. Our puppies are raised with Puppy Culture and sent home with extra training support for new owners. We enjoy continued relationships with puppy owners.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
