I'm Rebecca H., the breeder behind Black River Brittany’s located in Chehalis, WA. All of our puppies are bred, raised, and loved indoors to produce happy, healthy pets for those seeking the best family companion! Our love for our dogs pushed us to begin breeding. We love to see the results of our efforts in the sweet, happy, and healthy puppies that we’re able to share with others.
Q. & A. with Rebecca
Why did you start breeding?
I got my first Brittany in 1989 from a breeder/Judge and Vet. I instantly fell in love with the breed!
What makes your program special?
I feel producing a healthy puppy starts with the parents. Before a breeding is planned, both parents have and passed their health clearances, up to date on shots and our breeding moms get supplements started before breeding, during pregnancy and while nursing off mom. These supplements are proven to help with puppy brain development, healthy placentas and overall healthier puppies.
Our puppies are whelped and raised inside our home with children. They get exposed to several different stimuli, sounds and textures while in our care.
Puppies are De-Wormed at 2,4,6 & 8 weeks. At 8 weeks puppies get a health check and first set of shots.
Puppies are sold with a 26 month health guarantee.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
