I'm Dawn, the breeder behind Blackhorse Schnauzers Washington state located in Ferndale, WA. In order to start our puppies off on the right paw, we begin training and socializing at a young age so they are set up for success in their new homes. We prioritize the health and well-being of each one of our puppies and follow all appropriate puppy health protocols. I even give money back guarantees! We offer TAILS or docking. We also off 30 days free Trupanion insurance. One of the leading health care plans for your pet! We adopt out pets only. Breeding dogs can be discussed.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include wheaten, white, parti, liver, salt and pepper, black and silver, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Dawn

Dawn has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Dawn partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape.

“Since miniature schnauzers are very predictable in temperament and I am a trainer here to help for life, We do start choosing right away According to color and gender. However the final match is assessed as we progress and puppies grow into their personality. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,950 - $3,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“2150 is pet price. Deposit waived for veterans with proof. (We've been lied to) We offer payment plans for future babies too! Usually our babies are spoken for early. But if the rare occasions come and we have older ones (10 weeks) the price comes down to 1500. $4000 is for a show/breeding prospect. I will only consider breeders outside of Washington state who are like minded. (Dogs are PETS first and not kenneled baby factories) All dogs eligible for AKC and microchipping for a fee. We stopped automatically registering as no one followed through with application process. Rising costs as well. We do not charge more than it costs us! Always transferable to another if you meet your baby and don't like him/her. Be sure to think hard before placing deposit.”
