I'm Antoine B., the breeder behind BlackStar Cane Corso located in Dayton, OR. All dogs meet Good Dog's requirements in regard to health and wellness testing. Our puppies are ready to go home and all of our puppies have had their wellness checks, their vaccinations along with de-worming and daily supplements. We have over 50 years of experience in the dog breeding industry.

What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include gray and fawn, chestnut brindle, black, black brindle, fawn, gray, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Antoine partners with them to find the best puppy match.
Price
"Pet prices start at $3500, show and breeding puppies with full AKC registration are $5000 and up includes cropped ears, docked tails, wellness exam, regular worming and vaccines, socialization, crate training and much more. We can help with transportation options. Litters come pre-registered, must bear the BlackStar kennel name and approved by the breeders. We are well aware of scams and can ensure we are legitimate and can provide references upon request."

Parent health testing
Good level
BlackStar Cane Corso reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Cane Corso.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
