I'm Christy V., the breeder behind Bleus Bassets located in Clarksville, NY. We are a small, in-home breeding program where we prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care that we can. We cherish all of our animals and enjoy sharing the love of this breed with other individuals and families!

Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding to teach people about Bassets!! They are a SPECIAL BREED ❤️ Many of my families send me PUP-DATES often. Breeding my babies has given me the chance to meet and remain friends with so many great people and families!!What makes your program special?
My puppies live right with me and my family and all the visitors too! They do NOT live outside, in a shed, barn etc.... yes my house gets dirty, but my pups are super socialized and loved. They have thier own area with a large crate and a spot for potty on paper. The feed back I get is the pups adapt well and fast when they get the thier forever homes. I do this for my puppy kisses and love. I currently have four Bassets so my house is maxed and owning another may cause my kids to move out!Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Christy
Christy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $1,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes veterinary exam, deworming and first puppy Vaccines. Pups are also learning crate training, paper training, socializing with people and other dogs and a cat.”

Christy may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
