I'm Johanna S., the breeder behind Blu Diamond located in De Land, FL. We are lifelong dog enthusiasts, and we’re excited to share our passion and purpose with others through our breeding program. The sweet, loyal, and playful disposition of our dogs inspired us to begin responsibly breeding to expand the breed and share them with others.

Why did you start breeding?
In 2015 I started showing and breeding Silky Terriers. I purchased my foundation female Tawny Mist Blu Diamonds By Loren, Sophia, from the #1 top Silky Terrier breeder in the US and recognized worldwide. She became an AKC Grand Champion and International Champion with Best In Show, Reserve Best In Show as well as multiple Group placements. She has produced a Champion and Grand Champions.What makes your program special?
I breed for quality, not quantity. I have only 1 or 2 planned litters per year and test for health issues. My Silkys have current vaccinations and come with health certificates. I stay in touch with all my pet parents and answer questions or help with training or showing. If unexpected changes arise and they can no longer care for their Silky, I will take them back to care for them or re-home.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are blue silver and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

“Male are $2000 and females are $2500. Price includes guarantee with Health Certificate, AKC registration, first round of vaccinations, deworming and puppy socialization. Deposit is to hold your place in order of date received and will be applied to the purchase price at time of pick-up.”

About Skye
Skye is a very sweet girl who loves to be treated like a princess. She is an AKC Grand Champion who was in the 2020 Top Twenty in the nation and placed Select in the Silky Terrier Of America National Specialty. She has also been in the Top Ten in the nation and has had multiple Group placements.
