Meet the breeder

I'm Gloria D., the breeder behind Blue Blood Haus German Shepherds located in Lively, VA. We offer top quality puppies that are bred for health, temperament, beauty, and versatility. We are dedicated to providing families with a healthy new family member with lifetime support.

Q. & A. with Gloria

  • Why did you start breeding?

Several years ago my husband and I were introduced to a long coat German Shepherd, it was love at first sight. After lots of research, and with good mentors, we decided we would breed. We are a small hobby breeder, focusing on quality.
  • What makes your program special?

We spend countless hours providing each puppy we bring into this world with the fundamental basics for the best start in life. Our puppies are handled as soon as they come into this world, at day 3 we start Early Neurological Stimulation.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have long coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include sable, black, and black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
