I'm Kristie B., the breeder behind Blue Envy Great Danes located in Kalama, WA. Blue Envy Great Danes are proven champions in the ring and we take pride in our program and all that we've accomplished thus far. We'll strive to produce puppies for families that are structurally sound, healthy, intelligent, and have wonderful temperaments. We believe in the preservation breeder, striving for top-quality show lines to ensure the future of the Great Dane for generations to come.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Our breeder friend from Mt. Hood Danes recommended that we show our pup along side one of his brothers at a UKC event in the puppy class. Needless to say, after that first event, it took a lot of convincing for me to put him into another show. He was a goofy mess, and I was a hot mess. Novice meet nut! An accomplished year later, my husband partnered up showing with me after getting our beautiful blue girl, taking this boy to became the First UKC Emerald Grand Champion in 2019. Not too shabby, eh?

  • What makes your program special?

    My love for Great Danes inspired me to share this amazing breed with the world in a responsible way. Knowing that our dogs have passed all of their health tests, are sweet, conformationally sound and beautiful, we are confident of our goal for the improvement of this breed with each future litter. It is an honor to represent this breed and create opportunities for others to experience the same joys that we've experienced in raising these wonderful dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kristie

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Dew claws removed Vet exam completed shot series started and UTD Dewormed at 2,4,6,8, weeks Fecal exam and results Microchipped Breeder contract . Deposits are taken upon confirmed pregnancy. Puppies are sold with limited AKC registration. *Pups sold with full AKC registration go to approved show homes/breeders only.”

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
