Blue Rover Bullies

Adrienne H.

Breeder of Bulldogs and French Bulldogs

Meet the breeder

I'm Adrienne H., the breeder behind Blue Rover Bullies located in Forsyth, GA. We are a small, ethical breeder of quality, health tested French and English Bulldogs. We raise our puppies in our living room with our other dogs, children, cat, and turtle. They come vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped and litterbox trained.

Q. & A. with Adrienne

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My sister also breeds them.
  • What makes your program special?

We give our puppies so much individual attention. We also pioneered a litterbox training method that makes puppies easy to housebreak. We keep them longer than 8 weeks too because we feel like they aren't quite ready at that age. They are vet checked, vaccinated and microchipped before they leave here.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Bulldog puppies include red, fawn, and white. French Bulldog puppies are fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Breeder-Reported Testing

Good level

Blue Rover Bullies reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Bulldogs.

  • Hip Dysplasia

Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Spine (OFA, FCI), Cystinuria Urine Test (PennGen)

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Full Embark Panel

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
