Meet the breeder

I'm Ashley M., the breeder behind Blue Wonder Frenchies located in Loxahatchee, FL. My goal is to provide structurally sound, healthy, standard and colored French Bulldogs. We are a family breeder, where our dogs are always our pets first, their happiness and health come before anything. All of our dogs and puppies live in our home, I spend almost all of my time to ensure they are happy, healthy, well fed and well socialized. We are a licensed breeder within our county. We take pride in our program and the babies we produce!

Q. & A. with Ashley

  • Why did you start breeding?

I grew up with my family breeding and showing champion labs, and I have a brief background working in the veterinary field.
  • What makes your program special?

My goal is to bring one of the healthiest examples of the breed into the homes of loving families. My oldest Frenchies are turning 10 & 11 years old this year and sharing the joy they have each brought me to other families is what makes my program special. Most breeders don't keep their retired dogs and they certainly rarely live to see past the age of 10!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include brindle, cream, fawn, white, black and white, tricolors, fawn and white, black and tan, black, blue, and blue fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Blue Wonder Frenchies reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for French Bulldogs.

  • Hip Dysplasia

Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Spine (OFA, FCI)

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Multifocal Retinopathy 1 (CMR1), Hyperuricosuria (HUU), Cystinuria Type 1A, Labrador Retriever Type, OFA/CHIC DNA Repository

From the very first email, Ashley and Blue Wonder Frenchies exceeded our wildest dreams!! Ashley was available for questions and was timely and thorough in her responses. We loved seeing our Charlie grow from her birth to the day that she was delivered to us right before Christmas. Ashley and Jared could not have made our children's Christmas any better, as they worked with us on timing for delivery so that we could surprise them on Christmas Eve! It was a truly incredible and unforgettable experience, and we cannot recommend Ashley and Blue Wonder Frenchies more highly.

I got a puppy from Ashley of Blue Wonder Frenchies and it has been delightful working with her! My puppy, Clyde, is SO beautiful and you can tell he is VERY Hralthy. I was also lucky enough to get a very smart pup! Ashley and I both noticed how he would sit back and watch from a very young age. Ashley was available constantly with all my questions and concerns as this is my first frenchie. Clyde has tons of toys but for whatever reason he can’t get enough of this little garden trowel ( little shovel) which he twirls around like a ginsu chef on the concrete sidewalk making the most noise possible but it is quite the Show😂.

This is my third frenchie from Ashley. I personally would not get puppy from anyone else. Ashley made the process so easy and smooth. Good dog was also super convenient and easy to work with in order to purchase my puppy! 10/10 would recommend Ashley and her puppies to everyone. The highest quality frenchies you will ever come across. Ashley stays in touch and answers any and all of my questions and is super helpful. She builds relationships with her buyers and to me that is SO important. Thank you Ashley at Blue Wonder Frenchies and Good Dog for making my experience wonderful!!

Ashley was very helpful and sent me many updates about my puppy. She dropped him off at my house with his puppy physical and first shots all done. The puppy is well-socialized, extremely affectionate to people and other dogs, cute, sweet, and bouncy.
