I'm Kelly M., the breeder behind Bluebird Family Farm located in Churchville, NY. Our Aussiedoodle puppies are the perfect blend of brains, beauty, and heart. A cross between the affectionate, loyal Australian Shepherd and the intelligent, low-shedding Poodle, these pups are known for their playful energy, curly-soft coats, and family-friendly temperaments.

Why did you start breeding?
We began breeding Aussiedoodles because we fell in love with the breed’s intelligence, loyalty, and gentle spirit. After seeing firsthand how they make incredible family companions—full of energy, affection, and personality—we wanted to share that joy with others. Our goal is to raise healthy, well-socialized family members who will bring comfort, laughter, and love into their forever homes.What makes your program special?

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
