Bourbon Country Bullies

Lela L.

Breeder of French Bulldogs

Meet the breeder

I'm Lela L., the breeder behind Bourbon Country Bullies located in Campbellsville, KY. Our French Bulldogs are bred for health, structure and temperament. We have a small breeding program and all of our dogs live in our home. We are not a kennel and don’t want to become one. Our goal is to produce beautiful Frenchies that will make great companions. All puppies are sold as Pets unless Full AKC is discussed.

Q. & A. with Lela

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into breeding when I purchased my first bulldog and she ended up having a ton of health issues. I loved the breed so much I wanted to do my research and create healthier dogs for people to love.
  • What makes your program special?

My breeding program is special because our dogs are pets first. They enjoy the entire house, road trips, park visits and so much more.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include brindle, cream, and fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
