I'm Phyllis T., the breeder behind Bows and Bow Ties located in Tallahassee, FL. Our dogs are bred with health in mind and temperaments as a priority. Our parents take vitamins and have a healthy diet. We socialize our puppies with people of all stages of life and we play with them with learning toys. They are happy healthy puppies.

I love dogs and researched breeds that I liked. I have had Shih Tzu's for years.What makes your program special?

Poodle puppies are toy size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Shih Tzu puppies include chocolate and tan, chocolate, tricolor, black, liver, gold, red, black gold and white, red and white, black white and silver, gold and white, and black and white. Poodle puppies include sable, apricot, black, blue, brown, cafe au lait, cream, red, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

I really enjoyed working with Phyllis. We had several lengthy conversations in which she answered all my questions thoroughly; I visited Grace a couple of times and she kept her a week longer because I had a trip planned. She is so knowledgeable, but most important, she really loves and takes good care of her dogs and pups. My little Grace really loves, loves, loves everyone and is so much fun. I’ve never had a pup that is so easy to raise and train. She stole everyone’s heart at the vets office because her tail never stopped wagging, even after she got her shots. I found our Mia within a few days of her birth on good dog. I emailed Phyllis the breeder right away. I had been looking specifically for a shih tzu for a long time. I was scammed on another sight that was not reputable. So if you think it’s too good to be true , it is. That didn’t stop me from looking but it changed how and what I was looking for in a breeder . Phyllis is the real deal . Phyllis would actually facetime me weekly so my husband and I could see Mia’s progress. I want to publically thank Phyllis for making this whole process so much easier. She also went above and beyond and kept her 3 extra weeks while my husband and I were vacationing which was planned for a long time.
