I'm Amanda B., the breeder behind Bozzi's Little Aussies located in New Orleans, LA. We live in the super dog-friendly Touro neighborhood of New Orleans, where we have a big yard where our pups can run around and get plenty of exercise between walks. All of our puppies live with us, so they will get plenty of opportunities for socialization (with people and other dogs) and we will also provide basic potty training. All of our dogs come from champion bloodlines and are treated like family. We breed for both confirmation (breed standard) as well as temperament. Why did you start breeding?
We got our first toy Aussie because we lived in a tiny townhouse and knew the breed needed room for exercise. After the first one, we became completely addictiv=ced to their goofy, fun intelligent personalitiesWhat makes your program special?
I make sure all my pups are people and dog-socialized. We train them to use a doggy door, so they will be sent home well on their way to being potty trained. They are all raised in my house with my home with me and go home with a shot record you can give to your vetWhat are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, black, blue merle, and red merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

"The price includes our health guarantee, ASDR registration papers, early socialization, first round+ of vaccinations and deworming. Also, your puppy will have begun socialization and basic house training. All deposits are refundable until a puppy is chosen."

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Amanda is so great to work with! You can tell she loves and cares for her dogs and puppies which is such a great feeling when you know your puppy has been so well taken care of before you bring him/her home! Amanda flew to our local airport with our puppy which we appreciated since she best knew her needs. Callie has settled in quickly. She’s a beautiful dog who is very sweet and incredibly smart.
