I'm Jamie G., the breeder behind Bridge City Poodles located in Signal Mountain, TN. You're looking for more than a puppy — you're looking for a breeder you can trust. At Bridge City Poodles, we're committed to raising Standard Poodles the right way: health-tested, well-socialized, and loved from day one on our Tennessee mountain property. Our dogs have acres to run, explore, and just be dogs — and that freedom shows in their temperament. We take breeding seriously. We're constantly learning, intentional about every pairing, and dedicated to improving the Standard Poodle with each litter. But beyond the dogs, it's the relationships that drive us. Our families get real, lifelong support — not just a puppy packet and a wave goodbye. When you bring home one of our poodles, you gain a breeder who genuinely wants to hear how they're doing five years from now. If you've been searching for someone who does this with both heart and integrity, we'd love to meet you.

Jamie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Jamie partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.
“Deposits are taken in order, and that order determines pick priority. But we go a step further — we assess each puppy's temperament and get to know our families so we can help guide you toward the right fit. The best match isn't always the prettiest face. It's the one that was meant for your home.”

“Every Bridge City Poodles puppy goes home up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and backed by hundreds of hours of intentional care, socialization, and early development work. But what you're really investing in goes beyond the puppy. You get a breeder who stays. We're here for the questions, the proud milestone texts, and the hard days too. This relationship doesn't have a expiration date. Your puppy also goes home with a take-home bag full of goodies to help you hit the ground running — food, favorites, and everything you need to make the transition smooth. Oh, and a BCP shirt, because you're family now. We ask for a deposit to reserve your spot, and we take that commitment seriously on our end too. Deposits are non-refundable, but if your timing or circumstances change, we're happy to transfer your deposit to a future litter.”
Jamie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Jamie offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Jamie directly.
When you pay and communicate on Good Dog, you’re covered by Payment Protection.
You can drive or fly to pick up your puppy from Jamie.

Poodle
About Rizzo
Meet Rizzo | Dam Rizzo holds a very special place in our hearts — she is our first homegrown girl, sired by our very own Dexter and Crimson, and a true piece of the Bridge City Poodles legacy. This girl is something else. Athletic, vibrant, and full of life, Rizzo loves nothing more than logging long miles with her mom — and she has the endurance to keep up with just about anyone. But don't let the athleticism fool you — she is equally happy curled up with the kids, and her gentle, loving temperament around children is one of our very favorite things about her. Rizzo is AKC registered, OFA tested, and CHIC certified beyond standard — meaning we have gone above and beyond to ensure she is producing puppies with the health and soundness they deserve. She is everything we hoped she would be when we set out to build this program, and we could not be more proud to call her ours

About Crim
Our sweet Crimson is one of a kind. This beautiful red girl gave us three incredible litters and poured so much love into every single one of them. She has been an absolute treasure in our program — gentle, devoted, and the kind of mama who made it look effortless. We are so proud of the puppies she brought into the world and the families whose lives she helped shape. Now it is her turn to simply be loved. Crimson is stepping into a well-earned retirement, and we could not be more grateful for everything she gave us.

Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Full Embark Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
