Our dogs have acres to run, explore, and just be dogs — and that freedom shows in their temperament. We take breeding seriously. We're constantly learning, intentional about every pairing, and dedicated to improving the Standard Poodle with each litter. But beyond the dogs, it's the relationships that drive us. Our families get real, lifelong support — not just a puppy packet and a wave goodbye.   • Why did you start breeding?

    Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, so breeding dogs was always a goal — something I knew I'd do when the time was right. That time came, and I haven't looked back. What I didn't fully appreciate until I was in it is just how much goes into doing it well. The health testing, the careful pairings, the planning that happens long before a litter ever arrives — it's a serious commitment, and I take that seriously. The health of my parent dogs is everything to me. You can't build on a shaky foundation. The first eight weeks of a puppy's life shape everything that comes after. Whether that puppy goes on to be a family companion, a therapy dog, a service dog, a hunting dog, or a show champion — that potential starts right here, with how they're raised and what they're exposed to early on. Getting that foundation right is something I pour myself into with every litter. But honestly? What keeps me going is the moment a family meets their dog and just knows. Providing that — a faithful, healthy, well-raised companion — is one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. And as a former nurse, that's saying something.

  • What makes your program special?

    What makes our program special starts with something simple — our dogs are companions first. They live with us, they're loved by us, and every decision we make is filtered through one question: what's best for them? That's not marketing language, that's just how we operate. The environment helps too. We live on a beautiful piece of Tennessee mountain property, and our puppies grow up in it. Starting at four weeks, they're outside exploring — navigating different terrains, climbing steps, running and playing in wide open space. We even have an inground trampoline they absolutely love. It sounds fun (because it is), but it's also doing important developmental work. We implement the Puppy Culture program, which means our puppies aren't just well-loved — they're intentionally prepared. Socialization, confidence building, early neurological stimulation — it all happens here before they ever go home with you. By the time our puppies leave us, they've had eight weeks of a really good life. And that foundation follows them everywhere they go.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include apricot, black, blue, cream, red, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Jamie

Jamie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Jamie partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

“Deposits are taken in order, and that order determines pick priority. But we go a step further — we assess each puppy's temperament and get to know our families so we can help guide you toward the right fit. The best match isn't always the prettiest face. It's the one that was meant for your home.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Every Bridge City Poodles puppy goes home up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and backed by hundreds of hours of intentional care, socialization, and early development work. But what you're really investing in goes beyond the puppy. You get a breeder who stays. We're here for the questions, the proud milestone texts, and the hard days too. This relationship doesn't have a expiration date. Your puppy also goes home with a take-home bag full of goodies to help you hit the ground running — food, favorites, and everything you need to make the transition smooth. Oh, and a BCP shirt, because you're family now. We ask for a deposit to reserve your spot, and we take that commitment seriously on our end too. Deposits are non-refundable, but if your timing or circumstances change, we're happy to transfer your deposit to a future litter.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
