I'm Jessica P., the breeder behind Brush Fire Doodles located in Thatcher, NM. Our breeding program focuses on genetic-health testing as well as hip/elbow testing through OFA. We follow a puppy curriculum to ensure our pups are well-socialized as they are raised in our home around animals and children. We are here to help you find your next loving, life-long companion!

Why did you start breeding?
We first began breeding three years ago after doing extensive research on health-testing, genetics, and everything that it takes to raise a puppy. We worked with a mentor for over a year, and we feel confident that we are able to produce incredible genetics in our lines.What makes your program special?
While others may view breeding and dogs as a hobby or a means to an end, these dogs are our entire world. Every decision that we make as a family revolves around their happiness and well-being. We raise these puppies in our home, spending countless hours working to socialize them and ensure their health and safety.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, black and white, tri-color, phantom, blue merle, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Price
"This price includes parents’ health records, 1st round of shots, consistent deworming, training manual from our training program, and a life-time of training help. Deposits are $200 for all puppies, and it is nonrefundable. But it can be transfer to another litter if needs be."

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
DNA Disease Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
