I'm Andrew S., the breeder behind Bull Creek Kennels located in Claxton, GA. We are a small family breeder in Georgia raising Brittanys with excellent health, temperament, and pedigrees. Our dogs are fully health tested with OFA CHIC numbers and Embark DNA, and our puppies are home-raised with daily love and socialization to thrive as companions or hunting partners.

Why did you start breeding?
My journey began when I was invited to quail hunt with a friend. I fell in love with the sport and wanted a bird dog of my own. After researching breeds, I found the Brittany was the perfect fit for our family. From there, our passion grew into raising healthy, well-rounded puppies for others to enjoy.What makes your program special?
We go above and beyond to ensure health and quality. All of our dogs have the testing to obtain OFA CHIC numbers, Embark DNA testing, and pedigrees that include more than 40 Hall of Fame Brittanys. Puppies are raised in our home with daily handling, socialization, and care, preparing them to be loyal companions and hunting partners. Our puppies include white and orange, white and liver, liver and white, and orange and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Litter update on 13 Dec 2025 •…Potty training upgrade! 🐾 We’ve officially made the switch from pine pellets to artificial turf, and this is our very first time using it. The puppies took to it right away and are already doing great! Clean, simple, and a big step forward as they keep learning. 👏🐶

Litter update on 10 Dec 2025 •…Dottie’s and Jax’s puppies just turned four weeks old, and they’re growing like crazy. Every pup is gaining steady, right on track, and full of energy. They’ve started playing, exploring, and wrestling with each other, and it’s been fun watching their little personalities show up. The whole litter is healthy, active, and doing exactly what we want to see at this stage.

Litter update on 03 Dec 2025 •…The puppies are now three weeks old. Their eyes and ears have been open about a week. They are all now walking around the litter box and holding their bodies and heads up really good. Today we started feeding the some mush! They will grow a lot in this next week. They will become more and more playful and begin developing personalities of their own.

Program update on 07 Nov 2025 •…Dottie had her puppy count x-ray this morning. I can definitely count 7 puppies. The vet thinks she counts 9, maybe 10. Either way we are excited to welcome these puppies. We believe they should arrive within the next 5 days!

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Andrew was highly responsive and took time to answer all of our questions. He provided food and training recommendations, and was flexible with puppy pickup. Since our puppy was coming to a house with young kids we liked that Andrew and his family cared for the puppies in the first weeks to build socialization with children. Our puppy, Pawley (girl) 8.5 weeks, has been with us for one week and is training quickly. She is already able to use a bell on the back door to let us know when she needs to go outside and she took quickly to her crate for sleeping.
