I'm Jodi P., the breeder behind BurnsBerg's Woolies located in East Tawas, MI. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and intelligence. A high percentage of our huskies are raised for service & working dogs. We strive to produce the best overall pets and service dogs. Helping you find your dream husky is our mission. We only raise wooly Siberian Huskies.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Started 20 years ago and absolutely love every second of it. We are a family business, licensed & Genetics tested.
  • What makes your program special?

    We are a big Christian family and we take pride in our program.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include red and white, gray and white, black tan and white, black and white, and agouti and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Jodi

Jodi has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $1,150 - $2,150 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“We offer 3 different packages which are listed on our web page. Deposit does come off final price. Deposit is $400.00 for pups that are born and $200.00 for upcoming litters. Deposits does come off total price of puppy.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Brucellosis

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • DNA Coat/Trait Panel, DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
