I'm Brandy B., the breeder behind Burton's Mini American Shepherds located in Plain City, UT. With the guidance of top breeders I dabble in breeding. I currently own one mini aussie, and have placed one puppy in a guardian home. This is her first of only two litters, as I only breed my dogs twice.
Q. & A. with Brandy
Why did you start breeding?
I own a small farm. With farming comes the inevitable breeding of farm animals. Puppies have become my favorite babies to keep arms the farm.
What makes your program special?
I only have a litter once every few years. I do not own my dog to breed her. She farms and trail runs with me and taking her away from what she loves for 2 to 3 months is difficult for both of us.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Tilly
Tilly is a very loving very pleasing dog. She stays close to my side always and won't even leave the yard given the opportunity . She has been trained to take to the trails with me and loves it. She stays close with certain commands. She loves treats. Freeze dried liver is her favorite. She thinks she needs one when she comes in from outside always. Training went well because treats are so valuable to her. She is also a huge fan of paddleboarding.
