Q. & A. with Katherine

  • Why did you start breeding?

I fell into breeding Cane Corsi through my grandfather who immigrated here from Sicily. He knew the breed there. After my grandfather passed away it was hard to continue breeding Corsi. We had always owned French Bulldogs as pets and so we decided to health test them and move our contracts up to full AKC so we could start a program. It was a great decision! The whole family is overjoyed and involved with the Frenchies. We love going to shows together and hanging out with our furry family members.
  • What makes your program special?

I feel our breeding program is special because we bring a family aspect to breeding and placing our puppies. We allow prospective buyers to come into our home to see how we do things. I have yet to meet another breeder that does this. I have always picked my puppies up at a location other than the breeder's home. We also show our dogs and allow them to act as dogs and not a couch ornament. We love spending time with our dogs and we keep them for life after they retire from breeding. We health test through Embark and our veterinarian checks patella's prior to breeding.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, fawn, white, white and fawn, white and brindle, tricolors, fawn brindle and white, fawn and white, blue, brindle and white, blue fawn, black and white, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

“This price includes first set of vaccines, health guarantee, toys, dose of interceptor plus, tip sheet and AKC papers. All of our puppies require a working fee of 500.00 which goes towards the price of your puppy. We refer to this as a working fee because it is non-refundable and pays for us to work with you to choose the right puppy. You are in commitment to us and we to you when that 500.00 has been approved and paid. We must speak with you on the phone and approve your application prior to a fee being placed. We take placement very seriously and this is why a fee is required. We do accept visitors and we do Facetime as well to ensure you are comfortable.
