Meet the breeder

I'm Stacy M., the breeder behind Butterfield Trail Farm located in Tupalo, MS. Our focus is on breeding healthy and happy puppies that can bring just as much joy to their families as our dogs do for us. We are very hands-on with our puppies and give them plenty of unconditional love and attention!

Q. & A. with Stacy

  • Why did you start breeding?

We have always had a love for animals and dogs especially. We began our love for the English Spaniel breed 10 years ago and discovered their wonderful personality and their love for their people. We love their high drive and energetic lifestyle. We also appreciate that they are happy to hang out and relax too! We started breeding in 2021 with our girl Riley and our male Smokey. We discovered breeding dogs is alot of work but the reward far outweighs the work for us. We are 2 years in and are enjoying it more than ever.
  • What makes your program special?

Our breeding program is special because each one of our breeding dogs are our family. They live with us, play with us on hiking trails, boating on the lake and spending time on our cattle farm. We know each dog’s personality very well and can share that with each buyer that comes to us looking for their next Springer. We also health test all of our dog to ensure we are breeding healthy dogs
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our English Springer Spaniel puppies include tri-roan, liver white and roan, liver and white, black white and tan, and black and white. Miniature American Shepherd puppies include red merle and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
