I'm Caitlin H., the breeder behind C & S Farms located in Barnstead, NH. C & S Farms is dedicated to raising AKC English Springer Spaniels. Why did you start breeding?
Our journey with English Springer Spaniels began in 2018 when we welcomed our first Springer home. We were so captivated by the breed’s affectionate nature and intelligence that we immediately got our second one in 2019. Since then, our love for the breed has only grown, and now we’re dedicated to sharing the exceptional qualities of these wonderful dogs through our planned breeding program.
What makes your program special?
Our breeding program is special because we focus on the health, temperament, and well-being of each AKC English Springer Spaniel we breed. Our breeding dogs are OFA CHIC certified, ensuring they meet the highest standards of health. testing
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include liver white and tan, liver and white, black white and tan, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Caitlin

Caitlin has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Contract & health guarantee

Caitlin may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Dax
Dax is our handsome Black and White Roan or “Blue Roan” male. He is the calmest and most loyal boy ever! Dax loves to snuggle on your lap while watching TV and gives kisses like it is his job. He is extremely intelligent and a people pleaser. Dax has a moderate energy level. He enjoys playing fetch outside, but he is happiest when he’s lounging on the couch with you. He is confident, goofy, laid back, and is always ready to listen.

About Breyer
Breyer is our Black Tri Roan female. She is a nice girl with a sweet and loving personality. She is very athletic and smart with a medium to high energy level. She also has a charismatic silly side that she likes to share with all who care to watch. Breyer is a true velcro dog. If she could sit on your lap all day she would. She has the most beautiful round expressive eyes which she uses to get her way.

Primm, mom
English Springer Spaniel
About Primm
Primm is our Liver Tri Roan girl. She's sweet, calm, and has a moderate energy level. Primm is crazy about her toys, but she tends to destroy them, so we have to get the extra tough ones just for her. She's always on the lookout for toys to snatch from other dogs, patiently waiting for them to drop one. Primm is quite independent but does enjoy cuddling, only on her terms though. We are very excited to have her in our breeding program.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
PRA, Cone-Rod Dystrophy 4 (PRA-crd4), DNA Profile, DNA Repository
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
