I'm Emily V., the breeder behind Cable Creek Danes located in Post Falls, ID. My focus is creating well rounded, temperament tested puppies for loving homes that can be a great family pet or Service Dog. My pups have natural ears. I try my absolute best to only breed healthy stock & produce future generations that meet the breed standard, have a low level of in-breeding, have good health, and can live a long, happy life. All of my litters are evaluated at 7 weeks before a puppy can be chosen.
Q. & A. with Emily
Why did you start breeding?
I have been around dogs & breeding since I was a small child. I was raised w/ Poodles. When I was a teen, my mother got an AKC Basset Hound that I did Canine 4H with. It took me 2yrs, but I eventually got an overall Grand Champion with him for obedience & show. In my 20’s I had rescue dogs. In 2015, I got my first giant breed and have not looked back since. We will always have a Dane in our home.
What makes your program special?
In my program, I follow Puppy Culture protocols and have my litter evaluated by trainer at 7 weeks to help families choose the best dog suited for their home and knowledge in the breed. I am in contact with owners for the life of the dogs. And all of my dogs are required to be returned to me if their home cannot keep them.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
