Q. & A. with Felisha

  • Why did you start breeding?

⸻ 🐾 About Us 🐾 My journey into breeding began with a deep love for this amazing breed — a love that’s been with me for as long as I can remember. What started as admiration quickly grew into a true passion for raising healthy, well-tempered, and loving companions. I’ve always been drawn to their loyalty, intelligence, and sweet nature, and after years of learning, hands-on experience, and connecting with other responsible breeders, I made the decision to start my own small breeding program. My focus is simple: raise puppies that are not only beautiful, but also confident, socialized, and ready to thrive in a loving home. Each litter is raised in my home, surrounded by family, children, and plenty of love. From the very beginning, these puppies are treated like part of the family — because they are. And it’s my joy and honor to place them in homes where they’ll be cherished just the same.
  • What makes your program special?

We’re more than just breeders — we’re passionate advocates for preserving and improving the breed we love so much. Our dogs are not only family members, but also part of our show program, where they represent the breed with grace, beauty, and temperament in the ring. Showing our dogs ensures that we’re always holding ourselves to the highest standards — in structure, health, and personality. Every pairing is thoughtfully planned with the goal of producing well-balanced, healthy puppies that meet breed standards and make exceptional companions. Our puppies are raised in our home with hands-on care, early socialization, and exposure to children and everyday life. This sets a strong foundation for confident, well-adjusted dogs who are just as comfortable cuddling on the couch as they are impressing in the ring. We’re incredibly proud of the quality, care, and love that goes into every pup we raise — and we’re honored to help match them with families who will love them just as much as we do.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include fawn, red, and sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

My wife and I are both loving our little Sassy that we got from Felisha at Cadenza Corgi’s. Sassy is so cute and sweet and we love watching her grow and play with our pit bull that we rescued several years back and she is liking having her to play with. Thanks again to Felisha Boyles at Cadenza Corgis.

I can’t say enough good things about working with Felisha. From the very beginning she was incredibly responsive and patient with all of my questions. She went above and beyond by providing detailed information—even travel tips—which made the whole process so much easier and reassuring. Thanks to her, I was able to adopt my corgi, Gimli, who is now about a year and a half old. He is the most amazing dog I could ever imagine. Gimli has the best temperament, and without fail, people comment on how handsome and friendly he is every single time we go out. He’s ridiculously stubborn, hilariously sassy, and yet so loving and loyal. He’s also been fantastic in training, which speaks volumes about the foundation Felisha gave him before he came home with me. The bond I have with Gimli is truly unmatched. He has completely changed my life, and I would do absolutely anything for him. I’ll always be grateful to Felisha for trusting me with this wonderful little guy. If you’re considering working with her, I can promise you’ll be in the best hands.
