I'm Dominic & Alison V., the breeder behind Cali Rooted Bullyz located in Citrus Heights, CA. We love to responsibly raise and train our puppies so they have the tools to be well-rounded, beloved family members. We are a simple, family-run breeding program offering loving and loyal companions to others. We focus on quality care and health with each litter we raise.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Our passion for dogs, specifically French bulldogs, is what got us into breeding. We instantly fell in love with our first frenchie, Dosia. We quickly knew we wanted more frenchies, but it also sparked our curiosity on how to become breeders and provide people with happy and healthy puppies. We are so glad we did because it brings us and others so much joy.

  • What makes your program special?

    We raise our puppies in home. All of our pups are treated like our family until they go to their furever homes. We hope that our service will extend past just the sell of a puppy, we are here for support even after you bring your puppy home. We will continue make ourselves available to answer all questions to the best of our abilities.

Getting a puppy from Dominic & Alison

Dominic & Alison has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Dominic & Alison partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $3,000 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes the guarantee, AKC registration, first round of vaccinations, deworming, and puppy socialization. All of our puppies are the same price regardless of color or size. Full breeding rights option available upon request.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     My daughter Jayda has been searching for a Frenchie for months then discovered Good Dog. She saw Lucky’s picture and fell in love with him. We were hesitant at first so we contacted Alison and Dominic. We are first time puppy owners so we had so many questions for them. They answered them right away and even suggested some products. We ended up reserving Lucky by putting a deposit. They would send pictures and videos of Lucky until we picked him up. Arranging to pick up Lucky was a breeze. We met at a park in Sacramento and filled out a contract, transferred the money and Lucky was ours. Alison provided vaccination card and a few other items. The process was super easy and we are glad to have found Good Dog and Cali Rooted Bullyz!!

    Domnic and Alison were really wonderful to work with. You can tell they are responsible breeders who really care about their puppies. Communication was wonderful, and I couldn't believe how generous they were with the puppy package, complete with baby photo that they sent home with us. I could not be more happy with my little Bella. She's brought more joy and love in the short time she's been here then I can ever say. From her snuggling up to me at night and snoring in my ear, to having me hold her while I work from home and chasing and playing with her fur big brother and sister. She's a complete joy to have and I'm so grateful to Dominic and Alison for allowing me to have her. I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting an adorable french bulldog.

    Alison and Dominic were amazing to work with! This was our first time working with a breeder and our first time adopting a French Bulldog. Alison was so patient with us as we asked a LOT of questions and she was very knowledgeable about the breed, puppy care, routines, etc. We met the pups and fell in love, so much so, that we ended up getting 2 puppies from the litter. Alison continued to answer questions for me weeks after we picked up the puppies. They provided us with a starter bag of food, lots of information and Alison even framed photos of the pups and sent them home with us. They were both very responsive as we went through the process and we always felt that they were available to us through the deposit, pickup and even now months after our adoption. Our puppies are well cared for, healthy, beautiful and just perfect. We are so grateful to have found Alison and Dominic and we are so in love with our 2 new family members!
