I'm Margareth T., the breeder behind California Golden Love located in Mc Arthur, CA. We raise adorable, affectionate puppies for loving homes. We’re passionate about these dogs and want only the best for them! We prioritize health above all, so that our dogs can live long and joyful lives with their families. It's our goal to produce puppies with mellow, sweet personalities that make wonderful companions. It is our pleasure to help you take the next step in adding this wonderful new addition to your family!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We hope to help families find their puppies from responsible and ethical sources to help build a better and safer world for our dogs. We also value the connections we form with our buyers and love to continue to watch our puppies grow up through their eyes.

  • What makes your program special?

    When we bring a life into the world, we take that responsibility seriously and do everything we can to make sure it gets the best start possible. Additionally, any pup or dog from our program is a part of our pack for life, and we will always have a home for them here if they need it.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Goldendoodle puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, and red. Golden Retriever puppies include golden and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $2,300 - $3,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia , Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Full Embark Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    I can’t say enough about our experience with Margareth! My husband found the cutest little puppy on Good dog website and contacted Margareth to inquire about “Ginger”, Margareth replied within minutes and answered any questions that we had. Although we were skeptical about doing anything on going through Good dog made up feel a little bit better. Margareth was amazing, we got weekly updates along with photos. When pick up day finally arrived the process was so smooth, they were there early and also had a bag of goodies, a blanket that smelled like Momma and all the paperwork! If I had to do it all over again, I would definitely call Margareth, her knowledge as a Breeder was top notch! We are very satisfied with our little treasure. Her new name is Stevie Lee 🩷
