Sarah K.

Breeder of Bernedoodles

Meet the breeder

I'm Sarah K., the breeder behind California Mountain Doodles located in Rocklin, CA. Our dogs are bred to be loving family dogs, intelligent service dogs, and patient emotional support dogs. We implement Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) trainings with all of our puppies. Our puppies are raised in-home and are loved by our family and friends.

Q. & A. with Sarah

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always had an interest in animal reproductive practices, and eventually got my license in Canine Reproduction from Utah Valley University. I originally decided to breed bernedoodles for their incredible personalities and shed-resistant coats. It is my intention to produce well-behaved, intelligent, and loving dogs to be a great addition to welcoming homes.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs start their trainging at just 3 days old with a two week program called Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS). This helps develop their brains faster than the average puppy and prepares them to be very intelligent dogs. We incorporate Early Scent Introduction (ESI) training to further their brain development. We also begin potty-training our puppies from as ealry as 2 weeks old!
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include mini and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include brown, black, black and white, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
