I'm Mary H., the breeder behind Caloosa Toy Poodles located in Prescott Valley, AZ. We decided to start breeding to share the best possible puppies with excellent personalities, temperament, and most of all health .All pups receive a 1 year health guarantee, vaccines( by a vet) wormings, training to pee pee pads, used to noises, other dogs, and professionally master groomed daily.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My mother bred Maltese in Chicago when I was in high school, Having puppies was the best thing ever, I moved to Florida and started showing dogs, After showing I got into toy poodles and been hooked ever since. I am a Master Dog Groomer/business owner of over 40 years.All puppies are well planned out and touched daily. I am currently about to show again with my new ridgeback puppy 2026.

  • What makes your program special?

    I'm retired master groomer business owner and my dogs are my life. I temperament test each pup for the perfect fit either a quiet one for elderly or playful one for kids. All my dogs are in my home(no Kennel), puppies are hand raised born in my living room. I train each puppy to be used to their new outside world, Noises, new people, grooming, car rides so each pup is a great loving companion.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are toy size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include apricot, black, cream, gray, silver, white, parti, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Mary

Mary has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Mary partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We want to ensure our pups go to homes where you have the means and time for their care, cost, grooming requirements and training. This is a 13 to 18 year commitment. Please be sure entire household is on the same page on adding a new family member.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $750 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $3,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Pup prices are males 3250 to 3,850 and females 3850 to 4500. Previous buyers get discount NO PUPS ARE SOLD WITH BREEDING RIGHTS/PAPERS. I MIGHT CONSIDER A CO-OWNERSHIP. LIMITED PAPERS ARE 250. We require a 750 non refundable deposit once pup is born. I will transfer your deposit once to the next available 3 litters only if circumstances happen. OR DEPOSIT IS FORFEIT.”

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Vet Wellness Exam

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
