I'm Rebecca D., the breeder behind Canace Siberians located in Oakville, WA. My focus is to raise happy, healthy, intelligent, well balanced puppies who make wonderful family members as well as excel in both the harness and the show ring. Our puppies are raised using ENS and ESI to help prepare them for various stimuli they will experience in the world.
Q. & A. with Rebecca
Why did you start breeding?
I really want to produce Siberians that have similar traits (in health, temperament, trainability, and overall physique) to my wonderful dam, Cana. After learning, observing, and researching more about the breed under mentorship I decided to finally breed her to produce the pups I wanted. I am very happy about her first litter of puppies and excited to see what the future unfolds.
What makes your program special?
All of our sibes are raised as part of the family and raised to let them thrive being Siberians which means lots of running, lots of hikes, species specific diet, offering them enrichment, training, and competition in the show ring is for those Siberians who enjoy it. The sibes who love to pull get to work doing what they love to do. Our dogs are raised with love and compassion for the breed.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
