Carol B.

Breeder of Golden Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Carol B., the breeder behind Canyon Ridge Kennels located in Aguanga, CA. Welcome to Canyon Ridge Golden Retrievers! We have been very blessed to have the opportunity to share our hearts and home with some wonderful dogs, who are first-hand members of our family. Our love for these exceptional family dogs has led us to create a small kennel so that we can breed and raise a limited number of puppies for selected families. We produce a couple of carefully planned litters a year and will offer special puppies from these breedings to approved families. Our goal in breeding is to produce happy, healthy, and sound puppies for families to enjoy.

Q. & A. with Carol

  • Why did you start breeding?

For more than 25 years, Golden Retrievers have been a part of our family. We decided to create a small kennel so that we could produce a limited number of puppies for other families to enjoy.
  • What makes your program special?

We strive to produce healthy, happy, even-tempered puppies. We have only a few litters a year, as quality is more important to us than quantity. Puppies are carefully examined by our veterinarian before they are placed with their new families. They receive their first vaccination and have been dewormed several times. All puppies are sold on a limited registration to prevent irresponsible breeding. We require that they be spayed or neutered at the appropriate age to help stop the overpopulation of unwanted dogs in shelters.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
