I'm Korrine H., the breeder behind Cardinal’s Crossing Australian Labradoodles located in Higganum, CT. Q. & A. with Korrine
Why did you start breeding?
My passion for breeding began with Max, my first Labradoodle, a fully trained guide and multipurpose service dog. His loyalty and impact on my life inspired me to honor his legacy by raising dogs with the same heart, purpose, and intelligence. I’ve been mentored by two exceptional breeders since 2018.
What makes your program special?
Cardinal’s Crossing is purpose-driven and founded in honor of a life-changing service dog. We raise health-tested, well-structured, and emotionally intuitive Australian Labradoodles in our home with early socialization. Our goal is to produce companions, therapy, and service dogs with lifelong potential.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are medium size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Bodhi
Bodhi is the foundation of our program and an exceptional example of the Australian Labradoodle breed. Bodhi is a fully trained medical alert and response service dog. His temperament is one of his greatest assets: loyal, affectionate, respectful, laidback/easygoing, confident but never pushy, and always eager to connect with people and other animals.
Bodhi’s coat is a luxurious black wavy fleece that is low-to-non shedding, soft, and allergy-friendly—perfect for families seeking a companion with both beauty and function. He’s also athletic and well-structured, with a medium build and smooth, balanced movement. Whether working in public, lounging at home, or playing with children and other dogs, Bodhi adapts easily and brings joy to every environment.
He is everything we believe an Australian Labradoodle should be: intelligent, loving, steady, and purposefully bred for service, companionship, and solid structure. We’re proud to offer his qualities to like-minded programs who value health, temperament, and intentional breeding. 🐕🦺🐾❤️
