Carman's Miniature Poodles

Sandy C.

Breeder of Poodles

Meet the breeder

I'm Sandy C., the breeder behind Carman's Miniature Poodles located in Nashville, TN. Our AKC poodles are our pet family. They live in our home and participate in everything we do. Poodles are one of the smartest breeds in the world. Their temperament and being hypoallergenic makes them ideal for all family types, from young children to elderly.

Q. & A. with Sandy

  • Why did you start breeding?

We decided to get into breeding after DNA testing our poodles. We were heartbroken to find that one will likely go blind in the coming years. Puppies were easy to find but very few have available health information. From there we decided that through testing we could help other families have the peace of mind that we didn’t have. Our puppies have the very best start possible.
  • What makes your program special?

We feel that what makes our puppies special is that they are raised in our home and loved from before they are even born. We exercise the Early Neurological Stimulation and the Early Scent Introduction programs to help give them the very best start possible. We generally only have one litter a year so we are able to focus all of our attention on ensuring they are happy healthy puppies.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include apricot and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
