Blanca C.

Breeder of Pugs and Havanese

Meet the breeder

I'm Blanca C., the breeder behind Casa Blanca Pugs & Mardi Gras Havanese located in Edwardsburg, MI. Our puppies are from fully health-tested champion dogs. We breed to improve the breed with a focus on conformation, health, and temperament. Our puppies are raised with love and affection and their health and well-being are our top priorities. We have high expectations for our puppies and make sure to place each one with an enriching and loving family complementary to their personality and ability!

Q. & A. with Blanca

  • Why did you start breeding?

Both of us started with a purebred dog as a companion. Then, we then got our first Pug and we found a passion for showing in conformation. Blanca also has a passion for raising puppies. She loves to spend hours just observing them, seeing how they change and interact, and giving them all the attention and love they deserve. It has been an absolute privilege and joy to work with these dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

We take responsible breeding very seriously. As breeders, we are stewards of the future of the breed, so we are careful to always have ethical breeding practices. This includes proper health testing, intentional breeding for specific traits, and raising our puppies with proper socialization. Our dogs are very special to us, they all live with us and our lives revolve around them. All dogs deserve nothing less than to be cherished, spoiled, and pampered, so we strive to place all our puppies in homes where they will be loved as family members.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Havanese puppies include white, cream, red, and black. Pug puppies include black and fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
