Q. & A. with Katie

  • Why did you start breeding?

I grew up with German Shepherds as a child and decided to get into breeding while working at a veterinary clinic as an assistant. I purchased my first dog as a breeding prospect in 2002, did extensive health testing on her and began my breeding program. My foundation dog Kodiak got me into agility and dog training. She lived to 14.5 years and lives on in all of our puppies.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include plush, stock, and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include sable, black, black and tan, black and red, and bi-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
