I'm Cascade C., the breeder behind Cascade Country Doodles located in Anchorage, AK. We breed our dogs with a focus on creating loving, intelligent family dogs. We prioritize health, temperament, and matching families with the best dogs.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We have been raising puppies since the early 2000s where we got our start raising hunting hounds. We transitioned over to mini bernedoodles in the last few years and have loved it. We love what we do and our dogs are part of our family.

  • What makes your program special?

    We believe in raising healthy, happy bernedoodles in beautiful Alaska. We are a small breeding business and our dogs live in and are raised in our home.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include tiny and mini sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include red, black and white, tri-color, phantom, blue merle, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

  • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

    Cascade was wonderful to work with. Very responsive and helped me with all my questions. Picture updates and video calls during the whole process made waiting so much easier. My parents adopted a sibling from the litter at the same time and we love having play dates and watching the brothers grow. I can tell these pups were loved before we received them and that conditioning made them have wonderful temperaments. I fell in love with a bernedoodle that was at one of my daughters appointment and decided it would be a great fit for our family, I later found out the dog I met at the appointment has the same mom as our sweet boy! Both boys are 5 months old now and are incredibly smart. Cascade was able to predict their personalities too, my parents dog is goofier and higher energy whilst our pup is super chill and easy going. I highly recommend Cascade and bernedoodles! Our pup is our 10 year old daughter’s best friend!!!

    Cascade was amazing to work with. Prior to receiving our puppy we received updates about him along with weekly photos. They were very responsive when we had questions. Drop off was smooth, and there was no doubt that the puppies they raise are loved and cared for. We’ve had our Bernedoodle since Christmas, and he is incredibly smart.     We are first-time dog owners and are in love with our forever friend from Cascade Country Doodles. We got a mini bernedoodle, and he has seamlessly become part of our family.
