Meet the breeder

I'm G W., the breeder behind Castlerea Kennel located in Withee, WI. Having experienced much heartbreak in the breed, I set out to find the healthiest, best tempered dogs, and beautiful Bull Terriers in the world to start my program. Thus far my first litter has produced multiple AKC Champions. I've also championed all of my imports.

Q. & A. with G

  • Why did you start breeding?

I come by it naturally. My Grandmother bred Champion halter horses, and grew up on a farm where we bred high quality Angus and Holstein. After school I worked in the Thoroughbred industry and for the track veterinarian.
  • What makes your program special?

Preservation breeder with knowledge of genetics. I do not compromise on quality. The pillars of my program are health, temperament, ability, and functional conformation while keeping the exquisite type that is undeniably Bull Terrier.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black brindle and white, brindle and white, red and white, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
