I'm Cindy H., the breeder behind Cedar Ridge Ranch Mini Schnauzers located in Wilmar, AR. Our puppies become integral members of our family. They’re a daily part of everything we do until they’re ready to join their forever families.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    When we lost our longtime mini schnauzer companion, we looked for another one and found it hard to find the standard recognized AKC colors of black, salt & pepper and black & silver, health tested, champion bloodlines we were wanting in our area...so, we decided to raise them ourselves because surely, we weren't the only ones interested in a quality pet.

  • What makes your program special?

    We are a small breeder; our dogs are raised in our home and are very well socialized. We have raised schnauzers for 15+years. Our goal is to produce quality pups that adhere to AMSC guidelines. We have Salt & Pepper, Black & Silver & Black dogs with champion lineages. Our adult dogs tested clear with Embark for health conditions.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include salt and pepper, black and silver, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Price includes a 12-month health guarantee. Parents have tested clear for all known health conditions associated with miniature schnauzers. Puppies are vet checked and up to date on all vaccines. All my puppies are the same price color has no bearing on price. Deposit is non refundable."

    It is hard to believe that it's been almost a month since our new puppy came home. He has fit right in and been such a wonderful addition to our family. He is the sweetest little guy. We have been going on daily walks and whenever he sees the leash he gets so excited. His first check up at the vet was two days after he came home and the vet reported that he seemed to be very healthy. Yesterday he was neutered, so he is not feeling 100 percent, but I'm wondering if maybe he is taking advantage of all the attention and pampering he is receiving. He is not supposed to be very active for 10 to 14 days, but we had previously signed him up for basic obedience class starting this Saturday September 21st. The class is once a week for eight weeks, and the Vet said he should be ok to do the class as long as we don't let him overexert the first couple classes. I should get some good pictures and videos during the class that I can upload if that is not too late. Thank you so much for connecting us with our new puppy. Mike

    We love our little Rowyn. After weeks of searching, we found Rowyn on the Good Dog site. Cindy, the owner of Cedar Ridge Ranch for Mini Schnauzers was a delight to work with. The process through Good Dog was comprehensive, but efficient. To start, Cindy interviewed me by phone to ensure Rowyn would be placed in a caring home. She was very flexible, allowing us to delay picking Rowyn up until after a few months due to our hectic travel schedule. We met Cindy at her home in Arkansas to pick up Rowyn. Upon our arrival, it didn't take long to appreciate that Cindy truly loves her pups. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a miniature Schnauzer.
