I'm Mikaela S., the breeder behind Cedar Wood Farms located in Northport, AL. We’re so excited to be able to help families experience the longtime loyalty of welcoming a new puppy into their lives! Our focus is on breeding healthy and happy puppies that can bring just as much joy to their families as our dogs do for us. We are very hands-on with our puppies and give them plenty of unconditional love and attention!
Q. & A. with Mikaela
Why did you start breeding?
I don’t believe you really “get into breeding” you have to have a passion for it and dogs are just my passion. I know how I felt as a child getting my first puppy and I love seeing the faces of families when we hand them their forever fur baby. I guess I “got into breeding” when I fell in love with the Australian shepherd breed I just couldn’t get enough of them (you can never have too many)
What makes your program special?
All programs are special in their own way. But we raise our puppies the way we would want our own to be raised. They have their own nursery, TV, (paw patrol) toys and have been given so much love before they leave us. We take pride in our beautiful colors we produce, temperament and healthy, happy pups.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Aussiedoodle puppies are mini size. Poodle puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Aussiedoodle puppies include blue merle, red merle, black phantom, and black tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
