Q. & A. with Eve Anne

  • Why did you start breeding?

I developed my first mentor relationship with an OES champion breeder 45 years ago. Breeding top quality pups has been my lifelong passion, which shows through in our puppies. My adoration for specific breeds from my Celtic heritage came to fruition through CelticDoods.Poodle crosses have become more popular due to less shedding, yet I feel many miss the my human like traits poodles add to the mix!
  • What makes your program special?

All of my breeding dogs are beloved family members of my family and friends. My daughters and I have all the breeding females, while our poodles are with my sister and three local friends. I have an entire floor of my house dedicated to whelping and raising puppies. We manage our breeding schedule so we never have more puppies than we are able to thoroughly socialize.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Sheepadoodle puppies include medium and standard sizes. Goldendoodle puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Assorted Doodle Crosses puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Golden Retriever puppies include dark golden, golden, and light golden. Sheepadoodle puppies include brown and white, blue and white, and black and white. Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, and parti. Assorted Doodle Crosses puppies include black and white and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Herby is a beautiful puppy, and so well socialized. He has handled all of the new things in his environment like a champ. Crating, potty training, leash walking, everything is going so well. His temperament is amazing, calm and easy going but also ready to play! He is the best puppy I have ever had, so gentle and sweet and very easy to train. He sleeps through the night, goes potty outside, and has learned to sit, lie down and walk on a leash with ease. Eve Anne did an amazing job getting him ready for the world. We LOVE him.

Eve was responsive and knowledgeable about the whole process. She answered all of my questions and concerns, and stayed in touch and also sent me updates about my puppy.

Eve Anne was a pleasure to work with. When we got a puppy from her, we ended up with the sweetest and most well behaved dog I have ever owned. She's very smart and her temperament is calm and loving. Sometimes it's hard to believe she's just a puppy. With in the first week she has learned all the basic commands. She now understands "potty outside" and will show herself out by using the dog doors. Super smart, confident, loving, and joyful. Everything you could ask for in a puppy. She was also vet checked who said she was a very healthy puppy. We are so glad to have found CelticDoods.
