I'm Stephen N., the breeder behind Central Florida Shepherds located in Bushnell, FL. I breed long-haired, red and black, pure black, I do also have a stock coat red and black female in our program. I want to make sure I am always doing my part in bettering this breed. We do health testing on every dog and treat them all like family.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I always knew breeding was something I wanted to do. I have several top breeders assisting and mentoring us.

  • What makes your program special?

    My puppies will be loved from day one. Their well being and the love I show them comes first. All are dm checked, hips and elbows checked. I am dedicated to making sure they are happy and healthy.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include stock and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black, black and cream, black and tan, and black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
