I'm Chelsea C., the breeder behind Chamberland Poodles located in Parker, CO. We are a husband and wife team with two teenage boys, and we've been breeding mini poodles for 4 years now. Our puppies are tended to 24/7 for the initial 8 weeks, and all have their shots/deworming at 4 wks. Our 2 females live with us-a Phantom and an Apricot. Their babies are healthy & beautiful!
Q. & A. with Chelsea
Why did you start breeding?
I never thought I would get a mini poodle, but I saw this cute phantom poodle and had to have her! I wanted my kids to enjoy the pleasures of puppyhood, and felt that our poodle was an excellent candidate-we bred her with a cream mini and a red mini (she is retired-3 litters), and the puppies have all been absolutely wonderful! All healthy & happy, and their new homes are equally smitten.
What makes your program special?
We have chosen to continue breeding because the mini's produced have been healthy, and the poodle breed is such a delight. They have made their owners very happy! We hand-raise them, we are home with them 24/7, we make sure mom is getting extra nutrients while nursing and, as they grow, we work on potty training, no biting, getting them used to noises and giving them plenty of outdoor time.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable, apricot, black, cream, red, white, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Litter update on 04 July •
I cannot believe these littles are leaving us in 2 weeks. 🥹
They are much smaller than our other mini poodles litter! We started weaning them yesterday - they are enjoying solid (watered down) pro plan puppy food, with some Dollie's of blue wilderness wet puppy food. They got baths today and spent time outside. Loved the latter, not happy with the former - but they smell good 🙌

All the pups are playing now, and they recognize our voices when we enter the welping box area. Actually, today we started giving them run of the entire bathroom where their welping box is, and they'll play then retreat to the box for safe napping. They've been de-wormed (not that they needed it, but to be safe) and they're spending time with our German Shepherd - who is keeping watch regularly; he is def fond of these pups! They are all still quite small. Their Mama is extremely attentive and keeps them very clean. :)

All eyes are open and the pups are trying to walk - and gnaw on fingers!

About Evie
Evie is a 4.75yo Phantom mini poodle with the SWEETEST puppy dog eyes I've ever seen. She is extremely friendly and loves everybody. She is pretty darn smart, too. Evie has given us several litters of beautiful puppies in the following colors: Red, Apricot, Phantom, Sable, Cream, Black and White. She has been one of the best dogs we've had in our family!

About Villanelle
Villanelle has a big personality - she smiles, she cuddles, she plays hard with our cat (same size), she loves all people and she is incredibly smart. She is literally everyone's favorite! Villanelle has proven to be such a great mom - these puppies are so clean and comfortable; we are proud.
