Meet the breeder

I'm Chelsea C., the breeder behind Chamberland Poodles located in Parker, CO. We are a husband and wife team with two teenage boys, and we've been breeding mini poodles for 5 years now. Our puppies are tended to 24/7 for the initial 8 weeks, and all have their shots/deworming at 4 wks. Our 2 females live with us-a Phantom and an Apricot. Their babies are happy, healthy & beautiful! We have not registered our females; no interest. The studs are registered.

Q. & A. with Chelsea

  • Why did you start breeding?

I never thought I would get a mini poodle, but I saw this cute phantom poodle and had to have her! I wanted my kids to enjoy the pleasures of puppyhood, and felt that our poodle was an excellent candidate-we bred her with a cream mini and a red mini (she is retired-3 litters), and the puppies have all been absolutely wonderful! All healthy & happy, and their new homes are equally smitten.
  • What makes your program special?

We have chosen to continue breeding because the mini's produced have been healthy, and the poodle breed is such a delight. They have made their owners very happy! We hand-raise them, we are home with them 24/7, we make sure mom is getting extra nutrients while nursing and, as they grow, we work on potty training, no biting, getting them used to noises and giving them plenty of outdoor time.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include sable, apricot, black, cream, red, white, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
