I'm Jatana S., the breeder behind Champion Poodles located in Kannapolis, NC. We think everyone who wants to invest their money, time, and most importantly their heart into a dog should do so with confidence that steps have been taken to produce a fine healthy dog. Here at Champion Poodles we strive to do just that. Our puppies are sold as pets with the quality of champions.

Why did you start breeding?
I homeschooled my children for many years and as that was winding down I began looking for a hobby. My friend and mentor that was breeding poodles suggested I try it. I have loved it ever since.What makes your program special?
One of the biggest reasons that makes my breeding program unique is that I do not dock tails. I believe in leaving the dog natural the way they are born and intended to be. I find breeders with champion bloodlines, not to charge show dog prices, but to ensure the poodle looks the way a poodle should look, is smart, and trainable. I also do genetic testing on all my breeders.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are toy size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Getting a puppy from Jatana
Jatana has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $750 non-refundable deposit and $1,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“We ask for a deposit to hold the puppy of your choice. Once you pick them up, payment is due in full. Your deposit is non refundable but I will allow you to transfer the deposit to a puppy of a future litter if an unforeseen circumstance arises.”
Contract & health guarantee
Jatana may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

I am so very happy that I found Champion Miniature and Toy Poodles. The breeder, Jatana was absolutely amazing from the first time I spoke with her, up until the time I picked Barkley (formerly Copper) and even still helps me out. I could immediately tell her puppies are so very well taken care of and are so very much loved on. Barkley has bought me so much joy, I just can’t imagine my life without him. He is simply the best. He loves to cuddle and snuggle, just like Jatana said, he loves to play, has a great personality, basically he is just as Jatana described!!! Our puppy has a beautiful coat and is very smart. She gets along well with our other two dogs. She has a good appetite and loves to play with toys. She was walking on a leash two days after we brought her home. She knew her name as Jatana was calling her by it for us. We are thrilled with our experience and would highly recommend Champion Poodles.
