I'm Chantal L., the breeder behind Channys Doodles located in Summerville, SC. Our dogs are bred with temperament and health in mind. We are dedicated to providing families with happy healthy pets for a long time.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I fell in love the the breed many many years ago and when I purchased my first doodle I fell in love and the joy that she brought to me I want to share with others!!

  • What makes your program special?

    I am a small family raised breeder and absolutely love what I do! I do ENS/ESI and sound stimulation with every single pup. All parents are health and embark tested.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Bernedoodle puppies include mini and medium sizes. Goldendoodle puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Bernedoodle puppies include black, black and white, phantom, blue merle, and merle. Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, black, merle, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Chantal

Chantal partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape.

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $1,100 - $2,100 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes deworming, 1st round of vaccinations, vet health check, and microchip, and go home goodie bag! Deposit is non-refundable but can be transferred to another different dog or litter.”

    Chantal was super responsive on everything and was so communicative throughout the entire process. It is nice to have a breeder give you updates and not have to ask for them and get back to you so quickly. We live in Atlanta and Chantal was super willing to meet us half way which made it even easier for me in choosing her. I have to mention that her puppies are super adorable as well, that is what first drew me to her program at first along with other owners reviews being so great. We have one of hers from the Belle and Moose's litter, Java, now Banks. We have only had him for 5 days and he has just been amazing. He has adapted so well with our older goldendoodles. Banks came home has done extremely well with potty and crate training so I have to give the credit to Chantal for getting him started off on such a good note, makes it so much easier for the transition especially for me who will be his primary caregiver. We will definitely be keeping in touch which is another thing about Chantal, she really does want to keep updated on her puppies which is telling of her love for them!! I also enjoyed using the GoodDog website, i felt like part of the vetting was done for you and you feel like you are secure with them being somewhat involved in your communications with the breeder. Not that I wouldn't have trusted Chantal out of this but I had not used her previously. I liked being able to make the payments through them as well. Just that extra layer of security. Thanks agian for making it so easy!!

    We had the best experience with Chantal! She is so responsive and cares well for her puppies. Our puppy had the best temperament and we get so many compliments on his coloring! He is such a sweet boy! We loved that we got to see updates along the way and all the work she puts into the puppies before they come home. Potty training was a breeze because of all her work!

    I fell in love with Espresso the moment I saw her and my experience with Channys Doodles was wonderful from start to finish. Chantal took the time to answer my questions and kept me updated with photos, videos, messages and celebrated holidays with cute photo ops making me feel connected to my puppy before she came home. When it was time for pickup, Chantal provided a thoughtful care package with Espresso’s favorite toys, treats, food, and a blanket with her mom and siblings’ scent to make the transition easier. Chantal also went over her medical records and was extremely thorough on what to do next which was very helpful. Her genuine love was clear that her dogs are not just animals to her but are beloved members of her family. Cute note to add Espresso had a decorative collar with daisies a perfect fit. Now known as Daisy, she is a healthy, incredibly well-socialized, beautiful sweet girl who was clearly raised in a caring environment, making the transition into our home so much easier than I ever expected. It is obvious that she had been raised with affection, attention, and excellent care from day one. My family and I couldn't be happier with our new puppy and highly recommend this breeder to anyone looking for a healthy, well-adjusted puppy from someone who truly cares about her dogs and the families they go home with.

    We could not be happier with our experience with Chantal and our Bernedoodle, Vesper. We chose her when she was just a week and a half old, and it has been such a joy watching her grow into the wonderful puppy she is today. Vesper is incredibly smart and has done exceptionally well with house training. She is gentle and playful with children, gets along great with other dogs, and has a sweet, confident personality. It was obvious from the moment we brought her home that she had been well socialized. Chantal did an outstanding job exposing the puppies to children, other animals, and a variety of people, which made Vesper’s transition into our family seamless. Chantal answered all our questions and has been so responsive throughout the entire process and even after Vesper came home with us. She genuinely appreciates getting Vesper updates and pics. She loves car rides, playing with our grandchildren, romping with other dogs, and carrying around her many toys. Vesper is also absolutely beautiful, with her striking blue merle coat and one bright blue eye that turns heads everywhere she goes. Most importantly, she is healthy, happy, and full of personality. We are so grateful to Chantal for raising such a well-adjusted, loving puppy and would highly recommend Channys Doodles to anyone looking for a Bernedoodle.
