Charmed Golden Retrievers

Mikayla B.

Breeder of Golden Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Mikayla B., the breeder behind Charmed Golden Retrievers located in Peyton, CO. We strive to produce highly trainable, healthy puppies that can excel as service/therapy dogs, working dogs, and as companions. All of the breeding dogs in our program are chosen for their outstanding temperament and health. Many of their puppies have the potential to be exceptional service and therapy dogs. While not every pup in each litter will grow up to become a service dog, each one will make a wonderful and treasured family member!

Q. & A. with Mikayla

  • Why did you start breeding?

I worked closely with other breeders helping to raise litters and training their puppies as diabetic alert dogs. I fell in love with the process and wanted to start a top tier breeding program of my own with the goal of producing exceptional pets and high quality service dog prospects.
  • What makes your program special?

We are dedicated to the health of our Goldens and adhere to the GRCA health testing standards for every dog in our program. Due to my training background our puppies get a uniquely beneficial start to crate training, potty training, foundational obedience, and most importantly socialization. We make helping our puppy families for the life of their Goldens a top priority!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include dark golden and golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
