Q. & A. with Scott
Why did you start breeding?
My desire to be and have the perfect dog is what led me to wanting to breed my own dogs. After seeing the destruction of so many breeds from uneducated breeders and the desire for a dollar, it was time for to make a move to help the breeds through correct breeding practices that was beneficial to the breed and not my pocketbook.
What makes your program special?
All my breeding dogs are checked for genetic issues specific to the breed before any mating takes place. It’s not enough for me to have a breeding pair clear by the parents. I ensure the pair being bred are also checked and cleared. That is a practice that very few now follow. All breeding pairs are also correct to the breed standard with no defects or documented disqualification based on the AKC standard.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
