I'm Marissa C., the breeder behind Chestnut Great Danes located in Edinburg, TX. We love to responsibly raise and train our puppies so they have the tools to be well-rounded, beloved family members. We fell in love with the breed because of their intelligence and personality. There’s hardly a better feeling than being able to share them with other families that will love them the way that we do!

We had such a wonderful experience working with Marissa at Chestnut Great Danes! From the very beginning, she was incredibly responsive, helpful, and made the entire process feel easy and reassuring. While we waited for our puppy to be old enough to come home, Marissa kept us updated and shared pictures along the way, which made the wait so much more exciting! The flight nanny service was also absolutely wonderful and gave us so much peace of mind knowing our girl was being well cared for during her journey home. We are completely in love with our Great Dane girl and couldn’t be happier with her. She has already brought so much joy to our family! We highly recommend Marissa and Chestnut Great Danes to anyone looking to add a beautiful, loving Great Dane to their family.

Marissa was really good with responding and providing information throughout the entire process. I can tell she treated the pups litter real well because my pup Azula (Lulu) haas been very gentle and easy going with little to no struggle crate training, potty training, and a bit of on leash training. So far Azula’s experience in my home has been smooth.

Marissa was so fast to respond. You can tell she loves her Danes. I just lost one of my Danes, so connecting with her and getting little Rigby Madison has been a blessing.

Since the moment we communicated everything went smooth great answering and great communication all around! They worked with me and were able to just make it happen. Pick up was smooth and helped find the most affordable flight to bring my pup out. No to mention she came in potty trained and using the potty outside! We named our pup Nala and she’s been just amazing! She loves my kids! In all working with Marissa and chestnut Great Danes was a wonderful experience!!

Marissa was responsive and easy to work with. She provided prompt and clear communication, answering all questions and keeping me appraised throughout the process. She was also very flexible and accommodating of our requests. Would definitely work with her again!
