I'm Micheline L., the breeder behind Chevaline Goldens located in Sarasota, FL. With great love and care we strive to produce the highest quality of well-rounded, balanced puppies that make exceptional family companions. Our primary breeding focus is stated best in our motto: "Breeding with the purpose of enhancing overall Health & Breed Standard of the Golden Retriever".
Q. & A. with Micheline
Why did you start breeding?
I started breeding over 30 years ago but bred only an occasional litter for pet puppies. Recently my granddaughter has taken up dog handling as a Jr for AKC shows and in a very short time she is now the top Jr handler in the nation for Golden Retrievers and qualified for the first time in 2024 for Westminster. This breeding program was set up for her future and the love of the breed to maintain the breed standard set by the GRCA.
What makes your program special?
We focus on carefully scrutinizing genetics to breed for the highest level of health and longevity. Although we can not control or guarantee God’s plan we do go through great lengths to minimize major heath issues.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include golden and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Ruffles
AKC Registered. Ruffles was born during Covid, and was imported in from Costa Rica at 5 months to start our breeding program, and become a Jr. dog for my granddaughter to show in AKC Jr's. She was selected for her impeccable clean genetic bloodlines. She comes from Multi-International Champion bloodlines. Although she has titles, she is currently still in the process of obtaining her AKC Championship having 8 total points with (3) points being a Major so far. She is a very sweet, fun loving female that loves to run, dock dive, catch balls and please her Best Jr, my granddaughter. Puppies will be available at the end of July when they turn 8 weeks, and only after approved application. Please contact for form.
