I'm Lorene C., the breeder behind Chic English Springer Spaniels located in St. George, UT. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament. They are proven in the show ring, in performance events, and in the home. We strive to match puppies based on the goals of the new owners and the temperaments of the puppies to ensure the satisfaction of the owner and the happiness of the puppy.
Q. & A. with Lorene
Why did you start breeding?
My desire to breed comes from my desire to ensure quality dogs in the show ring, in performance events and as companion animals. It is a logical step as a competitor in multiple dog sports.
What makes your program special?
My dogs are proven in competition. They are proven in the home, surrounded by people of all types and ages. My dogs are rigorously screened for optimum health. I do not breed to make money, I breed for the love and improvement of the breed. Puppies are placed after 8-week evaluations in order to place the puppy in the environment for which I feel it would thrive and satisfy the goals of the owner.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
