I'm Nancy G., the breeder behind Chocolate Pet Connection located in San Antonio, TX. I strive to produce outstanding puppies that are structurally sound, healthy, intuitive, and have wonderful temperaments. They’re socialized around infants, toddlers, school aged children and cats.   • Why did you start breeding?

    When searching for my next standard poodle, I realized I traveled over 2 hrs to find one. I produce healthy, beautiful puppies by being responsible and conducting genetic testing. I take my job seriously, knowing my puppies will become someone's beloved pet. Each puppy is considered a member of my family, and I ensure they’re socialized, healthy, and prepared to excel in their forever homes.

  • What makes your program special?

    I do everything I can to ensure my puppies have what’s needed to develop into healthy and happy dogs. I strive to breed quality pups that fit any lifestyle. I’m devoted to ensuring there’s happy and healthy Poodles and mini dachshunds for others to enjoy. Poodles’ love, loyalty, & intelligence make them fantastic furbabies. Doxies’ loyalty, courageous and playful behavior is why they’re sought.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Poodle puppies include moyen and standard sizes. Bernedoodle puppies include medium and standard sizes. Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Dachshund puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Poodle puppies include sable, black, brown, cafe au lait, cream, parti, phantom, and brindle. Bernedoodle puppies include sable, black and white, tri-color, and phantom. Dachshund puppies include cream, red, blue and tan, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Nancy

Nancy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes puppy socialization, current vaccinations, deworming, dew claws removed, 2 year health guarantee, toy with mommy and litter mates scents , sample of puppy food, and a goodie bag. The reservation fee is applied towards the purchase price and secures spot for puppy selection.”

Contract & health guarantee

Nancy may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Nancy is an amazing breeder and dog trainer, when I adopted Benny in June of 2023, he already had a great training foundation and was a quick and fast learner. Everyone who meets Benny is amazed by his disposition. Even as a puppy, he is one of the most calm, friendly, and gentle dogs I have encountered.     We want to take a minute to sincerely thank Nancy for the care and dedication she put into raising Blu (Skittles) our puppy. From the moment we brought Blu home, it was clear how well-socialized, healthy, and happy he was, a reflection of the love and attention he was provided early on. Nancy's knowledge and support in the first weeks made the process very reassuring for us. She provided us ways to navigate the transition that proved to be successful for both Blu and us!
